Ashley Harold Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Ashley Harold, of Hyndman, Pa., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Harold, who received graduate program honors in counseling psychology, assumed a challenging professional role in the FSU Psychology Department. After the sudden death of a colleague, she ran the Undergraduate Leadership in Psychology Emphasis. Harold taught the leadership class, supervised undergraduate learning assistants, compiled and distributed Psychology 150 curriculum materials, interfaced between and among various Psychology 150 instructors, coordinated online work for Psychology 150 students and communicated with the necessary FSU administrators and staff. She succeeded in all this while on an internship and raising a young child as a single parent.
