Bernard McCarty Receives Bachelor's Degree from Frostburg State University

Bernard McCarty, of Cumberland, Md., recently received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Md., during its 142nd commencement ceremonies. FSU President Jonathan C. Gibralter conferred nearly 800 undergraduate and graduate degrees at this May commencement.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, FSU is one of 12 institutions and two regional centers in the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
