Bethany Henson of Williamsport Presented Work at the 2016 Frostburg State Undergraduate Research Symposium

In May 2016, Frostburg State University student, Bethany Henson of Williamsport presented research at the annual College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Symposium. Henson's project, "Characterization of Structure-Function Relationships of a Gram-Positive Bacterial Hfq," was presented along with Lorenzo Jones, Harrison Shore, Alexcia Aka, Elizabeth Meredith and Serge Owoukor, and performed under the tutelage of Dr. Catherine Vrentas.

The fifth Undergraduate Research Symposium showcased outstanding student research and artistry from 16 academic departments for Frostburg faculty, staff and alumni.
