Canyon Lohnas Honored With Emerging Leader Award at Frostburg State University

Frostburg State University sophomore Canyon Lohnas of Frostburg was honored with the Emerging Leader Award at the 2015-2016 FSU Leadership Awards Reception.

The Emerging Leader Award is presented to an outstanding freshman or sophomore for the energy and enthusiasm they have devoted to their collegiate experience.

Lohnas is a member of the FSU Education Association and Frostburg Association for the Education of Young Children. He co-taught a section of Orientation, is involved with the Student Affairs office and is active in the community coaching local youth soccer teams.
