Carissa Warnick Receives Scholarship to Frostburg State University

Carissa Warnick, of Lonaconing, Md., received the Thelma B. Hadley Memorial and Bernetta M. Smouse Scholarship from Frostburg State University. Warnick is the daughter of Judith and Donald Warnick and attended Mountain Ridge High School.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
