Christine Barnes Receives Scholarship to Frostburg State University

Christine Barnes, of Williamsport, Md., received the Verizon Scholarships for Education Students Program and Talent in the Arts Scholarship IV from Frostburg State University. Barnes is the daughter of Julie and Ed Lough and attended Williamsport High School.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
