Connor Riahin of Annapolis Presented at 2016 Frostburg Undergraduate Research Symposium

In May, Connor Riahin of Annapolis presented the following works at Frostburg State University's 2016 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Symposium:

"Comparison of Metal Ion Selectivity of Fluorophore 1,4-bis(2-quinolyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene in THF/Water and Acetonitrile," which was presented singlehandedly and performed under the tutelage of Dr. Benjamin Norris; and contributed research to "Drinking Water Quality Testing Using Test Strips and Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP)," which was presented by Edwin Pitt and Tommelynn Raine and performed under the tutelage of Dr. Dawn Armfield.

The fifth annual Undergraduate Research Symposium showcased outstanding student research and artistry from 16 academic departments.
