Eric Groff Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Eric Groff, of Jefferson, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Groff, who received departmental honors in art and design, created a sequential art portfolio in Advanced Illustration that is of professional caliber. He was commissioned by the City of Frostburg to create a series of public arts installations, received the Talent in the Arts and the Gilchrist Art scholarships, was featured at the Washington Printmaker's Gallery in Georgetown and was a judge for the Allegany Arts Council's recent Student Art Exhibition. After graduation, Groff plans to develop his portfolio further and seek a career in the comic book industry.
