FSU Brass Ensemble to Present an Evening of Chamber Music

The Frostburg State University Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Kevin McManus, will present its spring concert on Friday, April 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU's Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Selections will include "The Calling" by David W. Moore, "Galliard Battaglia" by Samuel Scheidt, "Three Pieces" by Johann Pezel, "What a Friend We Have" by Charles C. Converse and "Gonna Build a Mountain" by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

The recital will also feature the following FSU brass students performing solo works: Alexandria Blank and Jeremy Johnson on trumpets, Ashlee Gojeski on the French horn, Deandre Cook on the trombone, Maame Agyekum on the bass trombone, Ayauna Andrews on euphonium and Jeb Cliber on the tuba.
