FSU Student Alanna Hirshman Selected for Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership

Frostburg State University has selected Alanna Hirshman, of Charlotte Hall, Md., to participate in the 2016 Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership.

The Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership will be held Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Turf Valley in Ellicott City, Md. Many alumni will present over the course of the weekend; these students will have a chance to learn and be inspired by some of FSU's finest. FSU students will also network with other FSU organizations, as well as learn about the leadership competency model, how it applies to them and how they can bring new leadership skills back to their organizations within the University.
