FSU Student Charlie Engleka to Present Senior Guitar Recital

Frostburg State University student Charlie Engleka will present his senior guitar recital, accompanied by bassist Greg Hays and drummer Brian Weyant, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center. This recital is free and open to the public.

Engleka studies guitar with Patrick Sise and Jim Roderick. He is a member of the National Association for Music Education and is the recipient of the Talent in the Arts and the Trevaskis Music scholarships. Additionally, he is on the Dean's List. Engleka, a 2011 graduate of Rockwood Area High School, plans to graduate from FSU in May 2016 with a degree in music with a teaching certification. Engleka wants to become a professional musician as well as an educator in public schools or at the collegiate level. He is the son of Jess and Vietta Engleka of Rockwood, Pa.
