FSU to Present Clarinet Studio Recital

Frostburg State University will present the Clarinet Studio Recital on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center. The performance is free and open to the public.

The program will begin with the freshmen clarinet trio, comprised of Carmen Grimes, Patience Loscomb and Joshua Bittinger, as they perform Wolfgang Mozart's "Divertimento No. 2" in b-flat major. The recital will continue with Sydney Holtschneider and Liz Schartiger and their performance of Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Concert Duo for Two Clarinets." Sierra Green and Dr. Mark Gallagher will then perform Bernhard Crusell's "Duo for Two Clarinets." Afterward, Holtschneider will play "Tributes for Clarinet and Piano" by composer Geoffrey Bush. The recital will finish with Schartiger performing Witold Lutos?awski's "Dance Preludes for Clarinet and Piano."
