Janelle Walbert Receives Scholarship to Frostburg State University

Janelle Walbert, of Frostburg, Md., received the Derek Thomson Sheely Leadership Award, Frostburg State University Alumni Association Scholarship, Academic Distinction Scholarship and Academic Leadership Scholarship for study at Frostburg State University. Walbert is the daughter of Jay and Janet Walbert and attended Mountain Ridge High School.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
