Joseph Howser Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Joseph Howser, of Cumberland, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Howser, who received departmental honors in accounting, graduated in December 2015 with an accounting major and a minor in business administration. He is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the International business honor society. Howser was a member of the FSU Accounting Association and a participant in the Sloop Institute for Excellence in Leadership. He was a federal procurement intern with IBM in Rocket Center, W.Va., between 2014 and 2015. Howser is employed in a post-graduate internship with RSM in Baltimore, the nation's fifth-largest accounting firm, and plans to pursue his CPA.
