Joshua Burch Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Joshua Burch, of Hollywood, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Burch, who received departmental honors in marketing and finance, graduates with a degree in business administration, with a concentration in marketing and a minor in management. While a full-time student, he played on the FSU football team (as team captain in 2014-2015), was an invited member of Beta Gamma Sigma and was a volunteer at the local animal shelter. Burch has also worked for a home improvement company since 2011. He balances work and service responsibilities with high-quality academic work. Burch's professors describe him as conscientious, results-oriented and a leader who gets the most from his peers.
