Kacie Grubb Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Kacie Grubb, of Cresaptown, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Grubb, who received departmental honors in psychology, graduated at the top of her program. In addition to her academic achievements, she volunteered with CityReach Church in Cumberland, working with children, and even spent two weeks in Burundi last summer for a missions trip. Grubb accomplished all of this while working full time and raising her 2-year-old daughter. She has been accepted to FSU's Counseling Psychology graduate program, and selected for a graduate assistant position supervising undergraduate learning assistants.
