Kaitlyn Roush Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Kaitlyn Roush, of Street, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Roush, who received departmental honors in geography, completed a major in geography with a concentration in mapping and geospatial sciences. She participated in the FSU Honors program, Phi Sigma Pi national honor fraternity and Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international geography honor society. She was a tutor and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Professionally, Roush completed a tourism map for Grantsville, assisted Baltimore County Public Works with a mapping project and is developing a campus GIS for FSU. She plans on attending graduate school after working professionally.
