Katherine Riley Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Katherine Riley of Frostburg received departmental honors in history; she graduated with minors in art history and fine arts. A participant in both the Annual English Department Colloquium and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Symposium, she was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society, and Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and a student representative on the advisory board of WFWM, FSU’s public radio station. Riley plans to continue her study of history at the graduate level. A graduate of Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, she is the daughter of Karen and Steve Wegener of Cumberland.
