Kayla Porter Receives Scholarship to Frostburg State University

Kayla Porter, of Grantsville, Md., received the Wensel-Faherty Garrett County Scholarship, Dr. J. Hopwood and Karen Wooddell Scholarship, Chessie Federal Credit Union Scholarship and Academic Leadership Scholarship for study at Frostburg State University. Porter is the daughter of Greg and Laura Wilburn and Jeff Porter and attended Northern Garrett High School.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
