Kenneth Waters Jr. Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

2017 Jun 14

Kenneth Waters Jr., of Waldorf, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Waters Jr., who received departmental honors in theatre and dance, managed to pack four years of experience after transferring to FSU. He graduated at the top of his program, and equally impressive is the high-quality resume he built in the areas of acting and design/technology. Waters performed in five productions, stage managed four, served as dramaturg for "To Kill a Mockingbird" and designed masks, lighting and sound for five shows. He received two high honors from the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival: an Irene Ryan Nomination for his performance in "The Mousetrap" and a Certificate of Merit for Assistant Stage Management for "Around the World in 80 Days."
