Kiersten Butler Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Kiersten Butler, of Accident, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Butler, who received graduate program honors in business administration, graduated this May from the MBA Program at the top of her program. She also received her bachelor's in accounting from FSU in 2015. Butler is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and has volunteered as a student representative on many University committees, including the Provost's Academic Council. She has worked as a graduate assistant for the Department of Accounting since January 2016 and will work as a full-time instructor in accounting at FSU starting in fall 2017. She plans to pursue a doctoral degree in accounting in 2018.
