Rebecca Reimer Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Rebecca Reimer, of Taneytown, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.
Reimer, who received departmental honors in physics, was a standout in physics, graduating at the top of her program after transferring to FSU from Carroll Community College. She has consistently shown her ability to grasp difficult problems and help her peers with challenging coursework. Reimer was a leader in the Physics and Engineering Club, was a member and leader in the Kappa Mu Epsilon Math Honor Society and was a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honor Society. She also secured funding for her student group to present the results of their fall 2016 computational physics project during the January 2017 Meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
