Tabitha Ringer Receives Scholarship to Frostburg State University

Tabitha Ringer, of Oakland, Md., received the Lillian Compton Scholarship and Twylah Murphy Stewart Scholarship from Frostburg State University. Ringer is the daughter of Dora Shahan and David Ringer Sr. and attended Southern Garrett High School.

Situated in the mountains of Allegany County, Frostburg State University is one of the 12 institutions of the University System of Maryland. FSU is a comprehensive, residential regional university and serves as an educational and cultural center for Western Maryland.
