Trevor Jones Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Trevor Jones, of Baltimore, Md., was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Jones, who received departmental honors in communication studies, double majored in communication studies and philosophy at FSU, where he excelled academically and co-curricularly. He was an active servant leader on and off campus, as acknowledged by his Civil Citizen Communicator and NAACP Leadership awards. Jones was the lead Communication Leadership Lab assistant at dialogue and deliberation events, where he was committed to building relationships and unity. He recognizes that communication and leadership are processes that require continuous, reflective engagement and development, and his future in politics will reflect that.
