Two Local Students Recognized With Frostburg State University Honors

Two Anne Arundel County students were among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University's Honors Convocation in May.

Kyle Gambino of Crofton, Md., who received departmental honors in recreation and parks management, assumed key leadership roles after transferring to FSU. He worked to organize the department scholarship event to raise money in memory of FSU student Bob Norr and Frostburg’s Halloween Parade and Party. He enjoys skateboarding, hiking and camping and plans to become a parks department director or a special events coordinator at a convention center. A graduate of Arundel High School in Gambrills, Md., he is the son of Donna and Phil Gambino of Crofton.
