Frostburg State University will celebrate student achievements of its spring 2018 graduating class with the 152nd Commencement on Thursday, May 24, during two ceremonies in the Cordts Physical Education Center Main Arena.

Frostburg State University students were selected to present their written works at the annual English Colloquium. The papers, written by students in any major, are nominated by members of the faculty of FSU's Department of English and Foreign Languages.

Frostburg State University sophomore Benjamin Forrest was chosen by Campus Compact to be honored as the 2018 Newman Civic Fellow, which acknowledges motivation and potential in public leadership. Forrest is one of the 268 students who were honored among all Campus Compact institutions.
