FSU Student Caitlyn Rund to Perform Junior Alto Saxophone Recital
Frostburg State University's Department of Music will present a livestreamed alto saxophone recital, titled "Eating Elephants," by junior Caitlyn Rund on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7:30 p.m. She will be accompanied by pianist Dr. Joseph Yungen. Frostburg State University student Jessica Thayer of Oakland, Md., has been named a Newman Civic Fellow, which recognizes and supports community-committed students. Thayer is a senior double majoring in law and society and political science and minoring in philosophy and is the Student Government Association (SGA) vice president.

Calvin Richards of Hagerstown, a student in Frostburg State University's physician assistant (PA) program, was selected from thousands of PA students across the country as one of 18 to participate in the American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA) House of Delegates National Conference in May 2020. The House of Delegates establishes policies and guides the direction of the AAPA Academy each year.
